“Flower cannot solve the problem, but it can be a good start”

​

   Floralog is an on-going project set in a farming area, with flowers as it’s subject and targets local communities where non-contact has become routine. I am concerned whether art in contact-free society has limitless possibilities or limited possibilities. I did research on local farm and interviewed local farmers, tried to tell their stories from the perspective of art. The project includes archives of interview of flower farmers ,guide to flower arranging and workshops, Floralog, with local children who live near the farming area.​

  꽃록은 펜데믹 이후 비대면이 일상화된 지역의 공동체를 대상으로 꽃을 소재로한 '관계맺기' 프로젝트이다. 코로나로 인해 열린 언택트 시대에 문화예술 활동의 한계와 가능성에 관심을 가지고 프로젝트를 기획하였다. 나는 꽃을 키우는 지역농가를 리서치하는 것을 시작으로, 농가 인터뷰, 꽃꽂이 안내서, 지역 아이들을 대상으로 하는 꽃을 소재로한 워크샵을 진행하고 웹에 아카아브 하였다.
