Bio-

  Park Xun (b.1987) is a Korean artist whose works incorporate drawing, painting, video, installation and collaborative art. She combines visual experience with social issues such as cold war, gender, and cultural conflict, often working in collaboration with other artists or small community groups. Her practice seeks to highlight the chaotic condition that occur from the dynamics of misunderstanding by perversely blurring the boundary between different beliefs. She was a resident artist at the Public Art Project Shin-heung (2020-2021) where she arouse questions about redevelopment through photos ,interviews and workshops surrounding Seong-nam’s old town that was in the process of vanishing. She has curated four shows under the theme of the Jeju 4∙3 Incident(massacre) including <When the Camellia Blooms> at Show&Tell(2019), <The Face of the Island> at Cultural complex Sonemari(2019), <100 minus 30> at Art Space C (2018), and <The Face of the Island ‘preview’> at Lee Jung seop Museum of Art (2018). Her works were exhibited in the <Song of the Isle> at the Jeju 4∙3 Peace Memorial Hall (2019), <Wake> at the 4∙3 Art Festival (2019), and <Tourism> at the Jeju Biennale(2018). she was selected for artist grants at Seong-nam Cultural Foundation(2020-2021), Wanju Cultural Foundation (2022,2020), Seoul Cultural Foundation (2019-2020), and Jeju Arts and Culture Foundation(2018).

   박선(b.1987)은 개발과 재난 등의 사건들을 소재로 회화, 콜라주, 사진, 인터뷰, 설치 등 다양한 매체를 활용하여 작품을 엮어왔다. 현재는 도심과 떨어진 교외로 이주하여 논 풍경과 주변 자연을 회화와 드로잉으로 기록하며 표현한다. 2020- 2021 에는 성남 재개발 이슈에 대한 원주민 인터뷰 리서치에 대한 아카이브 전시(2020)를 진행하였고, 재개발 지역 아이들을 대상으로 하는 '내가 꿈꾸는 집' 워크숍을 공공예술 창작소에서 진행하였다(2021). 또한 4.3 을 주제로 4 차례 전시를 기획한 바 있다. Show&Tell 에서 <동백꽃 피다>(2019), 복합문화공간 소네마리에서 <섬의 얼굴>(2019), 아트스페이스 C 에서 <100 마이너스 30>(2018), 이중섭 미술관에서 <섬의 얼굴 1> (2018)을 기획 및 전시하였다. 4.3 평화기념관<섬의 노래>(2019), 4.3 미술제<경야>(2019), 제주비엔날레 <투어리즘>(2018)에 참여하였으며, 2015 년 볼티모어의 한인 타운에 소재한 서울떡집 (Seoul rice cake)에서 ‘이민’을 주제로 주민과 협업하여 만든 작품을 전시한 바 있다.
